Overview
Pune Cantonment Board and Southern Command (Army) entrusted us with transforming 5 acres of land located in the heart of the city. The site was categorized as wasteland, with a foul-smelling Nalla running through it.
The objective was to convert the neglected land into a functional public space while organically treating the Nalla and improving the overall environmental quality.
Challenges
Organic treatment of the Nalla without disturbing the ecosystem
Preserving existing large banyan trees
Delivering impactful design within a limited budget
